2. knowing how to alter the pattern "Anatomy of a pattern" according to the model that you see.
3. Scientific knowledge about the used textile and fabric which are available in the market and the characteristics of each type, which affects the appearance of the model and the best use of the fabric.
4. How to form the fabric on the mannequin.
5. How to adjust the mannequin and(how to pad the form) to fit with sizes required.
6. Study the elements and principles of design.
7. Knowledge of the accessories variation and how to employ them to serve the design.
8. Basic knowledge of hand stitches that help you to finish the model.
9. How to use the sewing machine accurately.

              Here after mastering those steps you can say "i want to become a fashion designer", where you see any design the implementation comes directly to your mind from the ground up.


Many people when they are just able to learn how to draw, distribute the colors on the paper, they think the problem is over , but when they faced the reality, they found many frustrating problems and then ask themselves "How to succeed in fashion for beginners". Why?


To be specific there are more determinations and aspects in the design field as general, for example the design in the architecture field, is different from the design in engineering machinery field, or from the design to web...etc. All these fields are studying design from their appropriate and logical aspects review for that certain field. for example, in architecture design you should study  the materials that will make him able to design the building in certain terms of aesthetic, certain scientific conditions that will match the quality of soil, method of infiltration, and so on. you have to know how to implement the design. I've met many people who claim to be designers, but unfortunately, many of their designs can't be implemented due to the lack of implementation knowledge and principles of design. This doesn't mean that the model can't be implemented, but it doesn't have a link between parts of the model.


Do you know if you have the talent in this field (of course after  you have learned the preceding phase), you can create  more than one model under one classification! for example if you want to create a show under the name (The soft women with solid personality), the previous experience in the implementation, the anatomy of the  pattern, will help you to how to put the fabric on the form, the alternation ...etc, will make you invest every story, and all the experiences that I mentioned earlier to express the idea in  more than one way.


This field is more than wonderful. It's like an artist that holds a quill and swims in the imagination to reflect the idea.
